Gaussian Blob Texture Reference Objects

Abstract
Gaussian Blob Objects are 128x128x128 cubic Texture Reference Image Volumes stored as 4-Byte floating point values ('real*4'). Each is a sum of 300 randomly distributed Gaussian Distributions. Two parameters are varied to alter the width of the distributions to achieve gradually varying texture within each volume. Texture metrics can be applied to each volume to test the sensitivity of that texture metric to the changing width parameter.
The central slice of each volume is shown in the reference image.
