    Armenta is currently a Program Manager at Fox Chase Cancer Center in the Office of Community Outreach. She is responsible for managing reserach projects, outreach activities and community education programs. Armenta is involved in the design and implementation of a number of behavioral research projects that are focused on increasing African American’s participation in Clinical Trials and Biospecimen Research. Armenta is a member of the University of Pennsylvania's Center for AIDS Research - Community Advisory Board where she is co-chair of research protocol. She has served as a Master Trainer at the University of Pennsylvania – Center for Health Behavior and Communication Research. Prior to joining Fox Chase Cancer Center Armenta provided technical assistance and management for training and health education activities throughout federal Region III. Additionally, Armenta managed regional activities associated with collaborative grant projects.
