  • Biography

Eran Andrechek joined Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor in 2009.  His training includes generation and characterization of mouse models with a particular emphasis on breast cancer.  In addition, he was trained in the analysis of large scale datasets with a focus on gene expression microarray data.  His lab currently uses bioinformatics to generate hypotheses which are then tested in genetically engineered mouse model systems.  Recently his lab has generated a genomic analysis on over 1200 mouse breast cancer samples from over 26 major models and this work has illustrated the similarities and differences inherent in these model systems as well as their relation to human breast cancer.
