The Norwegian Sarcoma Consortium is a collaboration between oncologists and cancer researchers from all Norwegian health regions to collect a population-based cohort of sarcoma patients and samples for exome sequencing, for biological and mechanistic understanding, therapy development, and preclinical investigations. We have now exome sequenced 300 tumour/blood sample pairs, and established a number of in vivo patient-derived xenograft models (pdx'es) an d in vitro cell lines from many of them.
