1:10-1:50 p.m. Matt Guay, Postdoctoral Fellow, NIH, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) Laboratory of Cellular Imaging and Macromolecular Biophysics, will present "An Introduction to Content-Aware Computation for Optical Microscopy."

1:50-2:30 p.m.: Luciano Lucas, Executive Vice President, Product Management, Sales, and Aivia Development, DRVision, will present “Perils, Pitfalls and Progress in AI Microscopy."

2:30-2:50 p.m.: Break and Discussion

2:50-3:30 p.m.: Jiji Chen will present “Sharper, Longer and Gentler: deep learning for fluorescence imaging”

9:30-10:30 a.m.: Aivia demo – How to Train a Deep Learning Neural Network for Image Restoration

10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Machine Learning Powered Image Restoration and Analysis – and an Introduction to Aivia. Presentation by Luciano Lucas.

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Additional Aivia Demos – How To: a) Apply Deep Learning Models, b) Test Restoration Accuracy, c) Detect Cells and Track their Movement in 2D and 3D Data Sets, d) Machine Learning Powered Image Segmentation, e) Handle Large (e.g. 1 TB) Data Sets (including the Visualization and Analysis of Light and Electron Microscopy Images), e) Trace Neurons.
