Minutes and Action Items from T-con 20170403

Only a few people have responded to the T-con invite. Please check your schedule and respond soon so that I can determine how many people will participate.

 * Start detailing eeDAP study plans and protocols. Let's see if we can't start with the STARD checklist and tune it to our needs

    * In the near future, I would like to partner teams for protocol development, this will include teams in the eeDAP studies group and members of the larger WSI WG.

 * It is time to download and test drive eeDAP in digital mode. Depending on readiness, it is time to also set up and test drive eeDAP in microRT mode (microscope real-time mode).

Brandon D. Gallas

Brandon D. Gallas provides mathematical, statistical, and modeling expertise to the evaluation of medical imaging devices at the FDA. His main areas of research are image quality, computer-aided diagnosis, imaging physics, and the design, execution, and statistical analysis of reader studies (https://github.com/DIDSR/iMRMC/releases , https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/iMRMC/index.html ). Recently, he has been investigating pathologist performance and agreement using whole slide imaging devices and the microscope (https://ncihub.org/groups/eedapstudies ). These studies are enabled by an evaluation environment that registers the digital images to the glass slides (https://github.com/DIDSR/eeDAP/releases ). Dr. Gallas also participates in the Pathology Innovation Collaborative Community (https://www.pathologyinnovationcc.org/ ), a regulatory science initiative to harmonize and standardize digital pathology processes to speed up innovation to patients.

    I could not really understand the minutes that you made. Try not using aussie writings next time so that it is easier for non natives to understand what you are writings. Although it is a good effort.
