The 16th Annual Virtual Cell Short Course will be offered June 22-24, 2015 at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington, CT. The Application deadline is May 10.
The Virtual Cell (http://vcell.org) is a computational software environment for modeling and simulating cell biological systems. This user-friendly software tool supports deterministic and stochastic simulations for both non-spatial and spatial models (including reaction-diffusion models with geometries derived from 3D microscope images). The course is free, but requires an application that describes how prospective participants plan to use the Virtual Cell system.
