Candidates for this full time, state-funded position should possess a doctoral degree in a field relevant to cancer epidemiology. The successful candidate will have a strong publication record in cancer epidemiology and success (or demonstrated potential for success) in attracting external funding, and evidence of teaching courses in cancer and/or chronic disease epidemiology and experience with mentorship of students at the graduate level. Preference will be given to candidates with a research focus on ethnic and/or social disparities in cancer risk and treatment. Application review will begin September 15, 2016, and continue until the position is filled. The person holding this position is considered a "mandated reporter" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
